Clearly if you volunteer to teach somewhere, your motives are not financial and you aren't going to make money. If you want to make money, you probably won't volunteer and nor will you go to China to teach. You'd head to Kuwait, the UAE or Brunei.
Important considerations are your own inclinations (are you a miser or a spendthrift?), the standard of living you can attain in the country you plan to teach in and the value of one currency relative to another.

Download Drill of UM UGM 2010 - English

Download Drill of English - UM UGM 2010
If a problem, you can Download here

Download Bank of English for University Admission

Download Solutions of Drill of UM UGM 2010 - English

Download Solutions of Drill of English - UM UGM 2010
If a problem, you can Download here

Miser or Spendthrift?
The issue of your own inclinations is one that will haunt you where ever you go. If you generally spend all of your income, you'll probably continue to do that even if your income is doubled. If you earn a lot, there are temptations like travel, good restaurants and domestic services. If you can live on a shoestring and save, you'll probably continue to do that regardless of where you end up.
Local Standard of Living
How do you judge whether you are being offered a good income or not? Your standard of living relative to the rest of the population in a country is a significant factor. You can look at other jobs in that country to see what they are offering by searching the internet and by speaking to people who've taught there before. That will help you to establish if it is a fair income for that country. The next question becomes can you afford to work there? If you discover that you're going to be getting 4500 RMB (around US$650) a month to work at a school in China, you may well be horrified until you learn that you can rent a furnished apartment for 230 RMB and feed yourself for 120 RMB a month. You'll have discretionary income and will be able to travel within China and enjoy a good local standard of living. However, if you have a mortgage back home that you need to service, you will have trouble doing that and may not be able to afford to live and work in China.
International Currency Issues
The currency issue is a much thornier one. If you look at what you can earn in some of the higher paying countries like Kuwait, UAE and Brunei, you'll still want to know what you can actually do with this money. For example, if you get an income of 15,000 Dh teaching in the Arab Emirates, you'll want to know how much food, housing and utilities will cost you and how much you will have left over. If you choose to live outside big cities like Dubai or Abu Dhabi, the cost of living will be lower and your income will be more significant. You will probably be able to send money home to pay the mortgage if you want to, or you'll be able to travel the world during your holidays. However, it's still tricky as you'll find yourself measuring your income in the currency of your home country.
Traps for the Unwary
Teachers sometimes sign contracts for a limited number of hours per week and are assured that when they arrive, they'll be given extra hours. When they arrive the extra hours fail to materialize. Pay coming in late can be another problem. A contract sometimes promises a gratuity at the completion of the contract. There are many anecdotal stories like this from China and Korea and probably from other countries as well. Be wary of promises that are made that don't appear in the contract!
Teaching in an English-speaking country.
To make a reasonable living in an English-speaking country is not easy today. Many jobs are casual and short term. They are often paid at an hourly rate that is not huge. Teachers move between jobs and may have two or three jobs going at one time. As student numbers fluctuate, teachers are sometimes asked to move on. Securing a permanent full-time position brings in a regular income, but it is often fairly meager. There are some well paid jobs to be had, but they can be difficult to obtain as many teachers want them.
Can You Make Money?
You'll never get rich teaching English, but you can make a living and you can travel the world. You'll make friends around the globe; a real bonus when you're on holidays and looking for accommodation for a few days. You can also expect international visitors to swing your way every so often. English teachers don't do it for the money, they'll never be rich, but many find it to be a rewarding career!

Easy Way to Make Money Online With Your English Skills

Getting a job online is now quite easy as long as you have good written English skills. This is because there is an endless stream of demands from countless websites for quality content every day. As you many know, the internet has countless numbers of websites and even more are being made every day. The good thing about it is that these websites are always hungry for article contents to post. The competition for quality content is very tight in the world of online business and if you happen to be good in written English content or article writing is a great and easy way to make money online.

Download Drill of Smup Unpad 2010 - English

Download Drill of English - Smup Unpad 2010
If a problem, you can Download here

Download Bank of English for University Admission

Download Solutions of Drill of Smup Unpad 2010 - English

Download Solutions of Drill of English - Smup Unpad 2010
If a problem, you can Download here

What makes article writing a great and easy way to make money online is that it doesn't require a starting capital. If you already have a PC and good internet connection you can make a lot of money online through writing articles with just a minimum of 2 hours of your time each day. You can start on this kind of job by looking for article directories or websites that help bring clients and writers together. You can also apply to SEO companies as a writer and start earning money. Usually for a part time job you will be given work load equal to 4 hours of your time to finish each day not including Saturdays and Sundays of course. The article topics required will differ depending on what your client needs. This will be a very easy job for individuals with good written English jobs though and would most likely consume 2 to 3 hours tops. Article writing is definitely a great and easy way to make money online.

Fraud In English Language Education

FRAUD used by SCHOOLS
Students want to attend high quality established schools. Schools will use fraud to attract students to their school or attempt to appear more established to qualify for government programs or association membership. Schools that claim to have specific affiliations, qualifications, assets, programs, staff or history that are untrue are committing fraud. Schools have also used fraudulent statistics to show jobs or salary upon graduation.
A favorite trick is to name a language school as a "college". The word college in Canada is not an official use name and anyone can name any building, house or barn as a college. Students should not choose a school simply because it has college in the name. College in the name does not mean anything in Canada.
Another trick is to use the same name or almost identical name of a famous school in the USA, UK, Asia, or Europe. If the famous school has not registered the name in Canada then anyone else can register the name without any affiliation with the original school at all. Students should not pick a school because it has a famous name in their country as it may have no affiliation at all and is designed to trick students.
Schools will appoint international agents or representatives to promote and market the school to potential students then not pay for the advertising or not pay the agency fees. Fraud schools will defraud agents by stating students did not register.
Some of the schools are owned by agents. When an independent agent presents the school with a potential student that student will be contacted by the head office agency and re-registered in the name of that agent thus defrauding the original hardworking agent.
FRAUD used by AGENTS
Students looking for foreign schools and teachers looking for overseas employment use agents to simplify travel and registration arrangements that are usually made in a foreign language.
Agents have used a number of practices to deceive students, teachers, schools and immigration officials.
Agents committing fraud sell fake medical reports, fake police reports, fake bank deposits records, fake identities and travel documents. These illegal practices include access to student visas, illegal access to free medical services and illegal jobs.
There was a famous case in Toronto where fraud agents just sat in a coffee shop outside a language school. They approached Asian students and spoke in Korean or Japanese only. They asked students if they had signed up for the ajoining language school. They were also asked if the students had used an agent. If the students had signed directly they were made an offer that if they went back to the school and placed the fraudsters name as agent they would get a 10 or 15% refund from the fraudsters.
Agents have promised teachers overseas jobs that do not exist. Agents have promised facilities or accommodation or teaching resources that do not exist. Wages that are not paid, work visas that never appear and host of other problems.
One agent operated a fake teachers "blacklist". He placed a few known criminal schools then a few of the legitimate schools on the list. This agent was charging fees to the honest schools to be removed.
There were a couple of agents that were promising backpackers jobs as English conversation teachers. The school usually paid the agent upfront for the plane ticket, recruiting fee and expenses. The agent would call his friend in immigration who would arrest the backpacker and fine or close the school for using an illegal worker. This scam would net the agent half a years regular office salary. With 5,000 small language schools - there were plenty of uninformed new victims. That is also why these agents they use a different name or company name every six months.
FRAUD used by STUDENTS
The most prevalent fraud is to use the student visa as an entry into Canada to work. These fraud students take away jobs from Canadian immigrant newcomers and jobs for Canadian students. If one really looked at the reasons for Canadian student, youth and newcomer unemployment in Canada - significant culprits are the employers who use illegal workers.
Students have hired imposters to take tests for them, paid exam proctors to complete exams, bought essays from "experts" to submit as their own and bribed school officials to change their marks in the official records. The victims of this student fraud are all the honest hardworking students that were denied admission into restricted programs because their marks were not as good as the fraud students who were admitted.
FRAUD used by TEACHERS
The most used frauds are fake degrees, diplomas or fabricated resumes. Because the demand is high for qualified ESL teachers overseas and these schools have few or no resources to check credentials many fakes go undetected. There have been estimates that 30% of the teachers in Korea used fake degrees to get jobs, and over 60 % of the teachers in China have absolutely no qualifications or fake certificates.
The most common "Teacher Fraud" is traveling to overseas countries on a visitor visa and then teaching illegally.
FRAUD used by Homestay Providers
Homestay can be a wonderful experience for international students when the host family is honest, provides all the contracted services and quality time with the students.
Fraud by homestay providers occurs when the family cannot speak English or there is no food, heat, water, toilets or electricity in the house. Some fraud homestay providers jam 5 or 6 students into an illegal basement apartment and some homestay families work at their 3 jobs spending no time at home with the students. The dangerous homestay providers are the sex predators looking for new victims.
FRAUD used by DEGREE MILLS
A degree mill is any organization that issues fake credentials. There are fraud schools that offer degrees for life experience and claim this is the equivalent of an academic degree from an accredited university. Sorry but many believe this is fraud.
The usual price for a fake degree or tesl certificate is $100 in Asia. Many of the schools are attempting to eliminate the frauds by asking for university telephone contacts or the university transcript marks sent directly to the school. The more aggressive fraud degree mills are now selling "the package" degree, tesl, transcript and hotline university contact # for the fake university for $600. The frauds are faster than the police.
There are many ESL teachers who have taken a 10 or maybe 20 hour program in a hotel room somewhere or completed some internet reading program and suddenly claim to be a certified TESOL, TESL or TEFL teacher. Many of these "certified teachers" have never been in a classroom. ESL in Canada has conducted several tours of ESL schools across Canada and the USA. Our fieldwork to collect information for the webpage directory has uncovered frauds, misrepresentations and some very bad situations.

Learn How to Make Money Teaching English Online

If you are looking for a way to make some extra money, you probably are overlooking a great skill that you already possess which is in high demand - English.
You may have heard of people teaching English as a foreign language and traveling overseas, but did you know that teaching English online is now becoming a popular learning method for students, and you won't even have to leave the comfort of your own home.

Download Drill of USM ITB I 2010 (Regional) and USM ITB II (National) - English

Pack 1

Download Drill of English Perceptibly, the method and approach of teaching should be very different. This is why there should be supplementary training for aspiring teachers of English as a secondary language.
First, you must get certifications to qualify you to teach English abroad. The two certifications are TEFL and TESOL.
TEFL is an acronym for Teaching English as a foreign language while TESOL is for Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. If you are qualified TEFL or TESOL teacher you can automatically work as a teacher in non-native English-speaking countries. There are a lot of Asian countries who are in demand of TEFL or TESOL teachers. Europe may have varying demands but certified TEFL/TESOL teachers can work there as well.
TEFL and TESOL certifications are offered in US and Australia but you can also get them online. A little research and study of English and teaching methodology can give you passable results. There are some websites that provide online training courses and resources. You can study at your own pace and get the exam for the certification at your own convenience Some sites also offer a longer program that goes on for several months. These online programs are very helpful and comprehensive.
The TEFL teacher training program is intended to prepare novice instructors to teach English as a Foreign Language (EFL) in minimal or short-term contexts. It will include not only a review of English but also the teaching methodology and theories about it. Some techniques may be taught and some are even specialized for different kinds of cultures.
Whether you are a professor in English or a high school drop out, you are still eligible to take the test and certification. All you need is the dedication and eagerness to learn. The certifications of TESOL and TEFL are signed by the IATQUO (International Association of TESOL Qualifying Organizations) making it accountable worldwide.
So, after your get your certification it will be fairly easy to find a job. The best advice I can give is to have passion in your chosen career and have fun. Teaching English to foreign people in a foreign land is emotionally and financially rewarding.

Easy Ways to Learn English

So ... you want to learn English but are undecided about which method to use? Quite a few of them provide examples of grammar and then give you a series of exercises to complete, to make sure you have grasped the idea. Register for the forums on these sites and you will able to get all sorts of help and advice from others who are in the same boat.
Taking Things One Step at a Time
A very sensible way to learn is to take things a bit at a time when studying English. You can learn at home, by setting time aside each day and following the DVD English for Beginners "Step by Step" approach. It is a special course, both easy and helpful, and you will soon be able to order food and beverages in a restaurant, or ask for directions of where you need to go. A great plus of this method of learning is that you can work at your own speed, and it does not matter if you need to spend a little more time on a particular section - you just move on when you ready.
The Value of the "Total Immersion" Method
For some people who want to learn English quickly, the best way for them is to be literally thrown in at the deep end. This is known as the Total Immersion Method and requires the student to stay in a place where English and only English is spoken and there is specifically a ban on their native tongue. Before long, they are speaking English, thinking English and even reacting by using English hand signals and gestures. Quite often this method is used for say, professional people who find themselves having to visit an English client, where it would be beneficial to their business to be able to converse in the client's language. However the large number of translation services providers with varying facilities and rates, make it difficult for the layman to settle for the one that is suitable for the project at hand. The following tips would help laymen understand some of the major differences between English and Arabic, and locate the best translation provider.
Unlike English, Arabic is written from the right to left direction. There are two types of Arabic in usage - business related documents are written in Modern Standard Arabic and religious/cultural documents in Classical Arabic. Arabic script uses a variety of sounds combined with diacritics, the meaning of certain words can change by varying the position of a diacritic. Hence English to Arabic professional translation requires highly qualified translators who attend to minute details. English to Arabic translation renders documents that are more voluminous compared to the original.
Arabic has many unique features; moreover the culture of the places where it is natively spoken is significantly different from those where English is spoken. Hence for English to Arabic translations, it is recommended that one should hire a translator whose native language is Arabic.
One can find hundreds of language translation agencies that offer English to Arabic translation. Selection of the provider that will do the job should depend upon the fact that they work with professionally trained Arabic translation providers, assure reasonably speedy delivery, assure quality, have reasonable charges and can furnish positive client testimonials.
•

4 Easy Ways to Learn English Online

When you learn a new language the only way to improve is to practice, practice and practice! This is a particularly good method if you're shy about speaking English as it will allows you to be anonymous online and will build your confidence to eventually speak the language face to face. By joining a chat room like TheChatPage.com you can discuss any special interest topic you like, or write posts in the forums. Having an email pen pal can also be a fun and effective way to practice English and make friends.
Online Grammar Exercises
For a more fun and interactive approach to practicing grammar exercises, try one of the many online grammar exercise sites available on the internet. You will find varied exercises and quizzes for most grammar points where you will be given corrections to your answer and useful explanations. Joining an EFL community will also give you access to volunteer EFL teachers who are available to answer all your grammar questions. Being part of a community such as EnglishForums.com is also excellent way to meet and communicate with other English learners.
Online Radio
Understanding native speakers and their accents is often one of the hardest parts of learning English according to EFL students. A great listening exercise, particularly for advanced EFL students, is listening to English radio stations online. Radio hosts often speak quite fast which makes this exercise rather difficult; however, this will help sharpen listening skills and be very good practice for phone conversations or meetings with native speakers. It is also an excellent way to pick up new words and learn about a variety of cultural topics.
Podcasts
If you don't have constant access to the internet, downloading podcasts is a great alternative to listening to radio. You can also pause the audio while you look up new words or take notes on the subject. There are some great sites available which offer podcasts specifically to EFL learners. The podcasts often come in manageable 15-20 audio files, complete with full transcripts, additional vocabulary, cultural explanation, general notes and sometimes comprehension questions. This additional information means podcasts are effective language learning tools even at a lower level of English.
These resources should enable you to practice your English in a more inventive way rather than relying on books and classroom time. Of course face to face interaction is really important but these are excellent alternatives and will contribute to acquiring more fluency and confidence in your skills.

Easy English Writing

When composing a piece that's meant to educate or inform, it's important to always have a picture of your target audience in mind. At the same time, you'll need to account for the least-enlightened of those set of readers and make sure your material will not fly over their heads. Basically, you'll have to dummy-proof your text, ensuring that the least-informed of those who need to read it will manage to follow your train of thought, instead of finding themselves lost amidst ideas they aren't sufficiently prepared for.
Identifying Your Audience
When you do, you'll have to identify the characteristics of that audience - from the things they know to the things they may not be privy to. The "dummy", in this case, will be the one with the least amount of exposure to the things your expected readers are supposed to know. If you're writing on client management for accountants, for instance, there will probably be a few new CPAs among your intended audience. When you're expounding on the virtues of MMA competition, there will inevitably be a handful of new fans who may take interest in it. Identify those individuals and decide if you wish to cater to them, too. If you do, then make sure your writing will not prove too difficult for them to manage.
Details
When writing for an audience lacking some basic information, you may need to include explanations in certain areas of your copy. If that will bring it past your intended word counts, looks at the possibility of pointing them to external resources instead. Either way, make sure you provide them a way to catch up with your topic or risk losing them permanently.
Simple Vocabulary
Unless you're writing to an army of academics and linguists, complex vocabulary will never be as effective as using more common words and phrases. I hate nothing more than to have to consult a dictionary before I finish every paragraph in an article - I'm sure most everyone else does too. Use the built-in thesaurus in your grammar software to help you simplify potentially dense statements.
Repeat Key Points
To make sure that your main subject is effectively communicated, repeat key points throughout the text. As a rule, spelling out key ideas at the start, once in the body and again towards the end is ideal when you want the reader to walk away picking up the major points.

Collecting Bank Of English

Collectors covet coins from the Bank of English. Here visitors will find a coin collection that includes coins issued in 1694. This was the first year that the Bank of English did business. Also found at the Bank of English Museum are coins from the 18th and 19th century. Older coins issued by the Bank of English are relatively easy to find on the internet. Coins with prices up to ₤160 for a Bank of English George III dollar, dated 1804 in excellent condition, can be found on internet auction sites. English coinage, as with all of their currency, has the face of the ruling King or Queen on the face. Coins are cited with the monarch's name. For instance, an "1861 Victorian half penny" has Queen Victoria's face on it.
The most common type of collectable Bank of English coin to be found is from the early 19th century. English was in a coinage crisis and, in 1804, the design on full-weight Spanish coins was completely erased. The coin design was replaced with a stamp that said, "Bank of English Five Shilling Dollars." Later in the same year, the Bank of English issued token silver coins for three shilling, one shilling and six pence denominations. These were minted from lighter-weight Spanish coins, as opposed to the full-bodied coins for the dollars. These coins, as well as counterfeits of them, are readily available from coin collectors, dealers and online.
In 1816, the Privy Council recommended the establishment of the gold standard in English, and the proposal is accepted, causing the production of a new, one-pound gold coin - the sovereign. The sovereign was produced until 1932, and is 91.7% gold. It generally sells for slightly above bullion price. Also minted were gold half-sovereigns. These were made in both two and five pound versions. In this case, pound refers to the name of the money used in English, and not how much the coin weighs. These coins were not sold as bullion coins, and are more scarce. Production of tokens stopped at this time and the tokens were removed from circulation by 1821.

Bachelor Degree

There's no question that the best bachelor degree to get in college is one that prepares you for an actual career. This way, when you get out of college you have a definite path to follow and a more likely chance to land a job. So just what is the best bachelor degree to get? Is there a best degree? Answering this question is nowhere near as easy as asking it.
Before we do, let's start by saying that there are some degrees that you can get that literally prepare you for almost nothing. It makes you wonder why they even offer them at all. Others think it's because some people can't handle the more difficult curriculums of the degrees that are more precisely targeted to a specific field.

Download Drill of English For College Admission

Download Drill of English - SNMPTN 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - UMB PTN 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - SIMAK UI 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - USM ITB 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - UM Undip 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - Smup Unpad 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - UMB PTS 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - UM UPI 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download Drill of English - UM UGM 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Also Visit Free Download Bank Soal - English for your success!

Drill of UN 2010 (National Examination - SMA / MA / SMK / SMP / MTs / SD / MI)

Bank of UN SMA(National Examination - SMA / MA)

Bank of UN SMK (National Examination - SMK)

Bank of UN SMP (National Examination - SMP / MTs)

Bank of College Testing (University Entrance Exam - Snmptn, Simak UI, Smup Unpad, Um Upi, UMB PTN / UMB PTS)/ UM Undip, UM UGM, UM Unibraw, SMBB Telkom, STAN etc.

So what are these degrees that prepare you for just about nothing? The list is actually as long as your right arm but we'll mention just a few of the more popular ones.

Psychology is a real favorite for many students. There's kind of a cool thing to tell people that you're a psych major. Unless you're going to become a psychologist, which is really going to take more than just a degree in psychology, there's really not much you can do with a bachelor degree in psychology. Sociology is another one that's pretty high on the useless meter, unless of course you're going to be a sociologist? Ever wonder what a sociologist does?
Then there are those who major in things like English Literature. You really have to wonder what somebody with a bachelor degree in English Literature is going to do aside from trying to maybe get a job in the theater or go into teaching.
That is what a lot of these kids do who take these courses that really don't have a definitive path. They end up going back to school to get a masters in their chosen discipline or maybe even something else and then with a masters they can get a job teaching at a university. The sad truth is, a lot of kids who get a bachelor degree in some obscure discipline, end up going to work at a Burger King. Maybe if they're lucky, with their education, they do get a management position.
The truth is, the best degrees to get are the ones that prepare you for a definite field such as accounting. A degree in accounting prepares you to be an accountant, period. And with all the crazy tax laws changing all the time, we're always going to need a good accountant. A bachelor degree in engineering is another good one. Pretty much the only thing you're going to be when you're done is some kind of engineer.
So while there may not be one best bachelor degree, practically speaking anyway, some are definitely better than others.

Consolidating Student Loans

Even though university student school loans may be viewed as good credit debt, meaning that it can easily be thought of as an investment decision and not a personal debt, they still generate quite a large monthly payment. For quite a few scholars and/or graduated pupils, the college student loan personal debt may turn out to be really difficult to take care of; that may be a condition where consolidating may very well reap some benefits.
Consolidating all of your education loan or school financial debt into one loan agreement has its good points and bad points. The positive factors include reduced monthly obligations and it is usually significantly simpler and easier to control one lending product than quite a few. On the other hand, there are a few potential con's involved if you decide to consolidate, including extended repayment terms and generally higher interest rates. After you do your groundwork and finally land on loan consolidation as the remedy, how do you go about getting the best student loan combination? To begin with, you can select to consolidate with any standard bank who offers debt consolidation school loans. This is a big positive because it enables you an option to investigate lenders for the best interest rates. It's a very good idea to begin your research by exploring the Web for information from other past secondary education students who have consolidated lately. See which finance institutions they utilized and whether they're pleased with that precise bank's service and loan agreement.
There are plenty of on-line loan consolidation loan providers to choose from, so commencing your search for one can get a bit mind-boggling. Concentrate your effort and time on dependable banking companies, such as federal credit programs (Primary Consolidation Financial products) or charitable institutions that offer credit. Assess the interest rates throughout the different financial establishments to find the lowest possible interest rate. Besides that, be on the search for incentives and interest rate special discounts and be sure to take those into account when selecting a lender. Do not make the error of looking exclusively at the sum of the monthly payment; take a look at interest rates, bonus deals/credits, and the number of years for repayment. Search for a combination loan which has the least amount of calendar months for repayment possible which you can pay for. For illustration, if you can afford a 20 year product, choose that loan over a longer term that has a lower payment. In that instance, you would probably help save a massive amount of money on interest expenses by the end of the loan.
Once you have simplified your choices for a reputable loan combination organization, it is time to choose one lender to finance the loan combination. Regardless of whether it be an online lender or a neighborhood bank you have chosen, you need to be 100% sure that you fully grasp all of the lending product agreement stipulations before placing your signature to it. That would include things like that you must be sure you know the payment due date, whether or not you forfeit any offered bonus deals/incentives for being late with a repayment, past due transaction fees, number of calendar months for settlement, premature payoff charges (if appropriate) and other relevant details. After you have covered all of this information and facts and agree with all the stipulations of the contract, you are now ready to complete the consolidation loan and soon after, begin repaying the loan consolidation loan agreement.

Repaying Your Graduate School Loan

You've made it through graduate school, and you deserve a hearty "Congratulations!" Your grad school degree is your ticket to the best-paying, most interesting jobs, and within a few years you will be enjoying the good life. But if you financed your grad school years with a loan, you are going to have your repayments taking a bite out of your initial salary. There are ways, however, to minimize the effect that your graduate school loan repayment has on your lifestyle.

Drill of National Examination for Vocational School(SMK) 2010 - English

Download Drill of English for National Examination for Vocational School(SMK) 2010
If a problem, you can Download here

Drill Solutions of National Examination for Vocational School(SMK - English

Download Drill Solutions of English for National Examination for Vocational School(SMK) 2010

Download Bank of English for Vocational School(SMK)

Do An Honest Financial Assessment
The initial step in taking control of your financial life post-grad school is to sit down and take a hard-nosed look at your money situation. If you're smart enough to have mastered an advanced degree course, you're smart enough to understand the economic reality that you can't spend more money than you make. Make a list of your recurring expenses, from your monthly rent, grocery, and transportation expenses down to the costs of dating and sipping a latte at your favorite coffee bar. You won't be able to start getting rid of your graduate school loan and other debts until you understand exactly where your money is going.
It's just too easy, in the first months of being in the professional world, to rack up huge meal and entertainment expenses, especially when the new paycheck dwarfs any previous ones you may have earned. You may think that you can spend on non-essentials at will, and still not have to worry about covering your graduate school loan payments each month.
Discipline Is The Key
But if you are truly smart, you will forego the trappings of your new financial success for the time being. Stay away from the designer clothes, cars, and addresses until you have paid off most of your graduate school loan, even if you entered the professional world at six figures. Writing that graduate school loan repayment check each month will be a good exercise in learning financial restraint.
By living a comfortable, but not extravagant life, you can use the money you save to increase the amount of your graduate school loan that your pay down each month. You'll pay the loan off faster, saving a tidy sum in interest. You'll also do great things for your credit record. And if your job isn't one which you think you want to stay with for the duration, by getting rid of your graduate school loan and other debts, you'll be in a much better position to walk away and look for that dream career.

Student Loan Money

People from all walks of life from single moms to new immigrants want to go to college but it is expensive so many students today have to think about getting a student loan or some type of financial aid. I am going to cover three ways to increase your chances of getting financial aid, namely via scholarships. Scholarships are attractive because unlike student loans, scholarships do not have to be repaid. Some colleges offer full tuition college scholarships, though these are hard to come by. You can even find some unusual scholarships such as scholarships from the Tall Club of America for, you guess it, very tall people who would like to go to college.
Download Drill of National Exam 2010 - English

Bank of English UN Exam 2009
Pack 1
Download English UN Exam 2009

Download UN Exam - English 2008

Download Bank of UN Exam Test Sets - English for Junior High School (SMP /MTs)

1. Thoroughly research scholarships given by your university or other organizations. You can simply do an online search for "college scholarship" or talk to your school advisor about the many scholarships that are available.
2. Once you have found some scholarships that you are interested in, you need to thoroughly understand all the requirements for that scholarship. Most scholarships are aimed at certain individuals such as by ethnicity, or by a sport you play, or if you have a special artistic talent etc. so by reading the requirements, you will find out if you qualify.
3. If you qualify for the scholarship, fill the application out thoroughly. Answer all the questions and make sure to leave nothing out. If there are any blanks, there will be delays which might mean that you will miss other important deadlines.
Once you find one that you want to apply for, fill out the application and hope for the best. Lastly, there are a number of fee-based scholarship matching services out there. Don't waste your money on these because you can easily find a lot of scholarship information for free online.

Private School Loan Consolidation

As the cost of college education increases, many students and parents turn to college student loans to help tackle the cost. Private school loan consolidation is the process of combining multiple private student loans (as opposed to federal) into a single consolidated loan.
The main purpose of obtaining a private school loan consolidation is to lower monthly payments, reduce the interest rate and extend the terms of re-payment. Re-payment terms are normally from ten to thirty years. A fixed interest rate can also be obtained which is advantageous. If a student has all federal loans, they should not use private consolidation as it would result is a loss of the benefits that come with federal programs.
If a student has borrowed more than $5000 in private loans or if the existing student loan debt exceeds 8% of the student's income, they should consider consolidation.
- Lenders
- Interest rates
- Total loan payments
- Credit history
- Payments remaining on original loans
For some students, the ease of managing a single payment is the most significant benefit of private school loan consolidation. While it is true that loan consolidation will reduce monthly payments, it will also lengthen the terms of re-payment, thereby increasing the overall amount of interest paid over the life of the loan.
The student must decide which works best for him/her - lower payments over a longer period of time or getting out of debt earlier by paying off the original loans on time.

How to Improve Your English Vocabulary

This is a very common problem for people who are learning English as a second language. During my experience in the English teaching industry I believe that I have found a method that can work for many people.
I like to call it the 'Paraphrase method'. It is actually very simple to execute and I know that many English language students have already achieved through this method.

Drill Solutions of National Examination for Vocational School(SMK - English

Download Drill Solutions of English for National Examination for Vocational School(SMK) 2010

Download Bank of English for Vocational School(SMK)

There are five stages to the process.

1. Article
You first need to choose a suitable article, letter, report etc. Be sure to choose an article that suits your level of English.

2. Decide
When you have chosen your article you then need to choose a paragraph of writing from the article. As above choose a paragraph that suits your level, don't make the mistake of choosing something too hard. Don't choose something too easy either.

3. Paraphrase
Next you have to paraphrase the paragraph. To do this I would suggest you have an English - English dictionary and a Thesaurus available to help you. The thesaurus will help you find synonyms of the words you want to paraphrase.

4. Sentences
Now make your own sentences with the new words. This will check your understanding of these new words. If you have an English teacher then check your sentences in your next lesson.

5. Practice
In the final stage you practice using your new words. This means actively using them in everyday conversation as often as possible. I would recommend using the words a minimum of three times each day for one month.
So that is what I call the 'Paraphrase method', I hope that you find it useful.
Good luck
Liam

Learning to Improve English

With much of our country wrapped in snow, and the kids clamoring to make a snowman, winter sports such as skiing are on my mind. I think back to my high school skiing trips, and learning the basics of how to start and stop while on the beginner slope. And I realized that learning to improve English, spoken or written, is a lot like learning to ski. In the beginning, you just need the basics, a few simple rules to help you survive.

Download Drill of National Exam 2010 - English

Download Drill of English - UN SMP / MTs 2010
(equipped with a complete solution)

Download UN Exam - English 2009

Download Bank of UN Exam Test Sets - English for Junior High School (SMP /MTs)

If you don't live in an English speaking country, the basics may be all you ever need. But, if you move to a country where English is the common language, you will probably want to improve your spoken English and writing skills.

In skiing, if you want to move away from the beginner slope, you may need some instruction to improve your skills. Some people can watch and imitate a more experienced skier, and they learn all they need to navigate the more challenging intermediate slopes. Others, however, need a few hours of coaching from an instructor to master the skills they need to safely make it down the harder slopes.

Learning to improve your English skills is much the same way. Some people can watch and imitate their friends and co-workers and learn what they need at that point. For others, a few hours of personalized instruction with an accent reduction specialist makes all the difference in their language skills and accent.

And then there are those who really want to ski, but just keep falling flat on their face. No matter how hard they try and how much they watch others, they just can't figure out how to keep the skis under them. It is important to them to learn how to ski, so they hire a personal instructor who will watch them, determine exactly what they are doing wrong, and teach them the skills they need to be a successful skier.

For many non-native English speakers, the story is the same. They have tried watching others, reading books, and watching videos, but their English pronunciation just doesn't improve. They really want to speak English more clearly, but they can't figure out what to do. They need a personal instructor, just like the skiers did, to walk alongside them, show them exactly what they're doing that isn't working, and teach them the skills for success.

So, where are you in your journey to improve your English, spoken or written? Have you learned all you need from English classes and friends, or are you looking for the instructor who will guide you in achieving your English pronunciation and writing goals?

English Study Tips for Kids and Their Parents

Kid whose parents take an active interest in their child's education will probably be much more likely to become successful language learners. This is why parents should get involved in their kids learning process. This article provides some useful tips for both kids and their parents. However, before you start reading this, keep in mind that kids' learning process is not the same with that of adults. So do not except your kids to learn English the same way - and at the same rate - you do.
Useful English Study Tips:
o Help your child access interactive websites on the internet especially relevant to young learners. There are tons of free and useful English websites for kids.
o Encourage good study habits by scheduling regular homework time and offering help and encouragement when necessary,
o Listen to English cassettes - for example music with English lyrics or storytelling.
o Use CD-ROMs with educational games:
o Watch appropriate English DVDs/VCDs/television programs suitable to the age and level of student. Animated films on DVD with language options can be a very good choice. Use English when the child is already familiar with the story. This will help them focus on the language rather than the plot.
o Encourage children to read you any English stories you every day.
o Let your child teach you what they learned in class. Look at the pages in the book your child studied. Ask them to identify pictures and name objects.
o Put stickers around the house labeling objects students have recently learned. This helps to bring language alive and gives learners day-to-day exposure.
o Ask your child to copy new words ten times each. This improves handwriting and reinforces word recognition and good spelling.
o Help your child make a 'personal dictionary'. In a notebook, write a letter of the alphabet at the top of each page. Start with A and end with Z. Children can record new words learned at school on the appropriate page. They can draw pictures to illustrate the meaning, give the translation or use it in a sentence. This can be a great way to review.
o If parents can speak English encourage conversation when possible.
Be Realistic about What Your Child Can Do
o All students have active and passive knowledge. o Focus on what children know rather than what they have forgotten. Students often personalize new words. Lilly might remember "doll", "skipping rope" while Tom remembers words like "dinosaur" or "robot".
o When children acquire their mother tongue, they understand and speak before they are capable of reading and writing. This is also true when learning a foreign language.
o Foreign language learners often go through a 'silent phase' when beginning to learn a language. This is normal. They are listening and noticing language. o Learners need to encounter language many times over a period of time before they 'know' it. Don't expect your child to 'know' it all after the first lesson. The teacher will review words in the next lesson to help students remember.
o Studies show that learners who have regular exposure to another language before puberty are more likely to have better language skills (including pronunciation) by the time they are adults.
o Making mistakes is a natural part of the learning process.
Most important of all: Remember that kids are not sponges! Also, do not be too hard on your kid. Often, though, when it comes to learning to SPEAK the language well, it's easy to find yourself feeling alone.
Here are 5 really good ways to improve your spoken English.

Drill of National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - English

Download Drill of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA IPA

If a problem, you can Download here

Download Drill of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA IPS

If a problem, you can Download here

Download Drill of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA Language Program

If a problem, you can Download here

Download Drill of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA Religious Programs

If a problem, you can Download here

Drill Solutions of National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - English

Download Drill Solutions of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA IPA

Download Drill Solutions of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA IPS

Download Drill Solutions of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA Language Program

Download Drill Solutions of English for National Examination for Senior High School (SMA) 2010 - SMA/MA Religious Program

Download Bank of English for Senior High School(SMA / MA)

Method 1 - Listen to Native Speakers of English
The first is that, if you are learning English with a teacher who is NOT a native speaker, you will be picking up mistakes as well as valuable information. You will be learning to speak English with the accent of your teacher, and NOT the accent of a native speaker.
What usually happens is that non-native speakers of English actually produce sounds in a different area of the mouth to native speakers, which his why second language speakers often find English sounds like 'r', 'n', 'w' and 'th' difficult or even impossible to say. They will copy their teacher and make a guess at it, often without getting it right. The second reason that this is important is that by listening carefully to native speakers, you will hear the flow and the 'music' of the language. This is something that you HAVE to hear - you cannot learn it from books and newspapers.

Method 2 - Just Say It!
Does this sound familiar? You've decided you're going to practice speaking English...you've thought about what you want to say..you wait for your moment to speak, and when it comes...you say nothing. I've done this, when learning French and Spanish, and I'm sure you have too. Usually we are worried in case we make a mistake, in case we get it wrong, or in case the other person misunderstands, or laughs. FEAR prevents us from practice. Just take a deep breath and SAY IT. It doesn't matter if it doesn't sound perfect, just say it. Speaking out loud is the only way to improve your spoken English (or my French and Spanish!).

Method 3 - Act A Little!
This one might seem strange, but a good way of improving your English is to act a little. For example, to learn a British English accent, you might pretend that you are 'Lord or Lady so-and-so', or another suitable character. Imagine how they would talk: how clearly and precisely would they form their words? This isn't as crazy as it sounds. Many people are nervous about speaking out loud because they are embarrassed or even surprised by the new sounds that they are making. Putting those sounds into a 'character' like this can be a useful way of getting over those nerves. You probably wouldn't want to speak in this voice all the time, but it's a good way to practice on your own!
Linked to this idea about acting, is to focus on the mouth positions needed to speak good, clear English. Make these mouth positions bigger than they need to be when you practice them. Really get used to how the English sounds are made, and how they differ from the same sounds made in your own language. This will go some way towards helping you reduce your accent and the Mother Tongue Influence (MTI) on your spoken English.

Method 4 - Ask!
How many times have you had a question about speaking better English, you've typed it into a search engine, and seen which answers most closely match your questions? What about using this as a starting point and ASKING the information provider your own question? It's a good idea to make sure that your question has a chance of being answered, though - there are many forums where questions can sit for days or even weeks without an answer, and you might not want to wait that long.
There are many people (myself included) with blogs, YouTube channels, twitter and Facebook pages who can and will answer any questions that you have. Sometimes it's easier to ask someone over the internet than put your hand up in class! Perhaps more importantly, we'll either be able to provide you with specific answers, or your questions can be answered in way which will help other learners too.

Method 5 - Sign Up and Subscribe!
Find those useful websites and blogs, and subscribe. That way you'll receive ongoing, useful information to help you improve your spoken English, as well as invitations to online events...AND the opportunity to connect with other learners around the world, and swap ideas. You'll find many opportunities online to hear native speakers speaking in real time in broadcasts of this sort. Choosing one that's about English speaking is obviously a good choice: the host will be speaking slowly and clearly so you can hear and understand as much as possible.
It's also useful to sign up for podcasts etc that are in English but on any subject matter of interest. These will probably be more of a challenge, as you will hear English spoken at a more natural pace. However, if your goal is to learn business English, then listening in to a call about business issues will not only be a chance for you to hear the language spoken at a natural speed, you'll learn some new vocabulary too.
On international calls, listen carefully to the differences between native speakers, and those speaking English as a second language. LISTENING, as you'll already be aware, is a critical part of improving the way you SPEAK. Above all, use this as an extra opportunity to PRACTICE wherever you can. Make sure that the knowledge in your head actually comes out of your mouth!

What Games Can I Use in an English Lesson?

Excellent question! Games are a fantastic addition to any TEFL lesson and inject a good dose of fun into the classroom. There are many reasons why you should include games in your lessons, and for a variety of these, but the main reason is that, if used well, they can enhance learning using a technique popularly known as accelerated learning.
A word of caution before you start plundering them; games are a great teaching aid, but not all games are useful!
Many games look impressive, but lack substance; students either spend too much time reading out cards that the teacher had written or simply throwing dice and moving counters. The amount of time spent preparing the game doesn't always equal the progress that the students made in learning the English language.
Remember, games are only useful if they practise using English in a constructive way and your students are actively listening to, recalling, or speaking the target language. With this in mind, we've picked a selection of games which require little preparation on the part of the teacher, but are intensive speaking or listening games that have been firm favourites with students over the years.
Catch! (8-12 pupils)
A ball encourages spontaneity and is a useful tool for turning almost any grammatical structure into a game. This game is best played with a group of about 8-12 pupils, and aims to speed up the response of the student, encouraging fluency in spoken English. (Teacher throws the ball to random student)
St: I'm going to work (throws ball back to teacher)
Throwing a ball creates energy in the classroom, helps build confidence and increase fluency in a fun environment.
Team Games
Everyone loves competitive games. This type of game can involve running and writing the answer on the board, throwing balls, or the quieter tabletop version of simply holding up the correct answer. Don't forget: adults can be just as competitive as children, so introduce these games to all age ranges. 1. Go over directions (turn right, turn left, go round the corner, take the second right etc...)
2. Split class into 2 or 3 teams, line each team up in front of board
3. Shout out a direction; the first student from each team must then run to the board and draw the corresponding diagram. If you prefer, you can have the diagrams pre-prepared so the student selects the correct diagram and pins it to the board, but we find that students gain more from the process of drawing out the direction.
Quizzes
Ask students to write their own questions in teams, or form questions using a simple text. A firm favourite with teachers and students, quizzes can be invaluable for practising superlatives (biggest/longest/widest) and can also be modelled on popular TV shows.
I went shopping and bought...(memory games)
These games encourage pupils to recall specific vocabulary and can be adapted to practise any grammar structure. Have some realia or visual prompts on hand to remind students of vocabulary, so they don't get stuck and lose confidence. (Teacher throws the ball to random student)
In summer, I went on holiday to Greece, and Russia
Bingo
This game requires little explanation. (10-15 mins)
This is a fantastic ice-breaker and a good game for both children and adults. For this game you'll need:
Post-its
Sticky tape (just in case)
Pens
1. Hand out a post-it to each of the students.
It is important to keep the name on the post-it secret!
1. Am I dead or alive?
The only question your students are not allowed to ask is, of course, 'what is my name?'! A simpler version of this game is adaptable for younger children, using animals in the place of famous people.
Games for Children
What's the time Mr. Wolf?
Remember this game? A great game for outside or a spacious open plan classroom, and learning the times. Children: What's the time Mr. Wolf?
Wolf: It's 10 o'clock
Children: What's the time Mr. Wolf?
Wolf: It's 11 o' clock etc...
This continues until the wolf answers 'dinner time', at which point the wolf runs and catches one of the children, who then becomes the new wolf.
Twister
Twister? A good activity to set a small group, and children love the silly aspect of this game. Silly (Simple) Simon says...
Remember this game? The class should only follow the directions of the leader if he begins the instruction 'Silly Simon says...' If the leader misses out the word 'silly', the class should do nothing.

Which is the Easiest Language to Learn?

Which is the best language to learn? Which is the easiest?
Whichever language you wholeheartedly choose to study will be both the best and the easiest. The choices.
Here is the Modern Language Association's 2002 list of the most commonly studied languages at university level in the United States. I have not included ancient languages like Latin, Biblical Hebrew, or Sanskrit, special purposes languages like American Sign Language, or U.S. heritage languages, like Hawaiian or Navajo since the choice of those languages follows a different dynamic:
1. Spanish
2. French
3. German
4. Italian
5. Japanese
6. Chinese
7. Russian
8. Arabic
9. Modern Hebrew
10. Portuguese
11. Korean
12. Vietnamese
13. Hindi/Urdu
14. Swahili
The U.S. State Department groups languages for the diplomatic service according to learning difficulty:
Category 1. The "easiest" languages for speakers of English, requiring 600 hours of classwork for minimal proficiency: the Latin and Germanic languages. Category 2. Medium, requiring 1100 hours of classwork: Slavic languages, Turkic languages, other Indo-Europeans such as Persian and Hindi, and some non-Indo-Europeans such as Georgian, Hebrew and many African languages. Category 3. Difficult, requiring 2200 hours of study: Arabic, Japanese, Korean and the Chinese languages.
Will you get a chance to practice this language?
Now, consider another important factor: accessibility. To be a successful learner you need the chance to hear, read and speak the language in a natural environment. Language learning takes an enormous amount of concentration and repetition, which cannot be done entirely in the classroom. Will you have access to the language where you live, work and travel?
The 14 most popular courses according to a combination of linguistic ease and accessibility.
1. Spanish. Category One. The straightforward grammar is familiar and regular. It is the overwhelming favorite, accounting for more than fifty percent of language study enrollment in the MLA study.
2. French. Category One. Grammatically complex but not difficult to learn because so many of it's words have entered English. For this vocabulary affinity, it is easy to attain an advanced level, especially in reading. It is a world language, and a motivated learner will find this language on the internet, in films and music.
3. German. Category One Plus. The syntax and grammar rules are complex with noun declensions a major problem. It is the easiest language to begin speaking, with a basic vocabulary akin to English. Abstract, advanced language differs markedly, though, where English opts for Latin terms.
4. Italian. Category One. It has the same simple grammar rules as Spanish, a familiar vocabulary and the clearest enunciation among Latin languages (along with Romanian). Italian skills are easily transferable to French or Spanish.
5. Russian. Category Two. This highly inflected language, with declensions, is fairly difficult to learn. The Cyrillic alphabet is not particularly difficult, however, and once you can read the language, the numerous borrowings from French and other western languages are a pleasant surprise. It is increasingly accessible.
6. Arabic. Category Three.
7. Portuguese. Category One. One of the most widely spoken languages in the world is often overlooked.
8. Swahili. It includes many borrowings from Arabic, Persian, English and French. It is a Bantu language of Central Africa, but has lost the difficult Bantu "tones". The sound system is familiar, and it is written using the Latin alphabet.
9. Hindi/Urdu. Category Two. The Hindustani language, an Indo-European language, includes both Hindi and Urdu. It has an enormous number of consonants and vowels, making distinctions between phonemes that an English speaker will have difficulty hearing. Words often have clipped endings, further complicating comprehension. Hindi uses many Sanskrit loans and Urdu uses many Persian/Arabic loans, meaning that a large vocabulary must be mastered. Hindi uses the phonetically precise Devanagari script, created specifically for the language. Predictably, Urdu's use of a borrowed Persian/Arabic script leads to some approximation in the writing system.
10. Modern Hebrew. Category Two. Revived as a living language during the nineteenth century, it has taken on characteristics of many languages of the Jewish diaspora. The resultant language has become regularized in grammar and syntax, and the vocabulary has absorbed many loan words, especially from Yiddish, English and Arabic. The alphabet has both print and script forms, with five vowels, not normally marked. Vowel marking, or pointing, is quite complex when it does occur. 11. Japanese. Category Three. 12. Chinese. Category Three. It is the most difficult language on this list. It includes all of the most difficult aspects: unfamiliar phonemes, a large number of tones, an extremely complex writing system, and an equally unfamiliar vocabulary. On the positive side, it is easy to find, since Chinese communities exist throughout the world, and Chinese language media, such as newspapers, films and TV, are present in all these communities.
13. Vietnamese. Category Three. This language belongs to an unfamiliar family of languages, but it does borrow much vocabulary from Chinese (helpful if you already speak Chinese!). It has six tones, and a grammar with an unfamiliar logic. The chances of speaking this language are not high, though there are 3 million speakers in the USA.
14. Korean. Category Three. Korean uses an alphabet of 24 symbols, which accurately represent 14 consonants and 10 vowels. Speech levels and honorifics complicate the learning of vocabulary, and there is liaison between words, making them hard to distinguish. It borrows many Chinese words, but the language is unrelated to other languages of Asia.
The most important factor of all: personal motivation
The easiest language to learn is the one that you are most motivated to learn, the one you enjoy speaking, the one with the culture that inspires you and the history that touches you spiritually. It is useless to try to learn a language if you are not interested in the people who speak it, since learning a language involves participating in its behaviors and identifying with its people.
Bonne chance!

How to Improve English Pronunciation Skills

Do you have difficulty with your English pronunciation? Do people find it difficult to understand you, and because of this - do you avoid speaking English?
Good English pronunciation can be a difficult skill to gain, but with focused practice you can learn to pronounce English clearly.
Tips to help you practice English pronunciation
Listen to other native English speakers, try to repeat the speech you hear. Pay attention to the way English speakers pronounce words, listen to the tone and the rhythm of the English language.
Slow down your speech. Practice speaking English with native English speakers and record yourself when you speak. Practice reading aloud in English every day.

Why is it difficult to improve my English pronunciation?
As an adult you have a good understanding of the sound system of your first language, so with specific instruction it is possible to extend your awareness to help you understand the differences of particular sounds in English.
The first language of an adult learner is one factor that strongly influences their pronunciation ability in English. Difficulties experienced by learners attempting to teach themselves English pronunciation may occur because often they may be unable to hear the differences between their first language and English. Listening to spoken English and being able to hear the different features of the language is an important part of learning to pronounce English more clearly.
Improving your English pronunciation takes time. It is important that any program of instruction include extensive homework activities that focus on particular problem issues, providing opportunities for the learner to practice and improve their pronunciation over time.
English pronunciation training can provide adult learners with specific instruction that focuses on their particular pronunciation problem areas. With continual practice and support, learners can work towards making significant improvements in their ability to speak English more clearly.
To achieve your goal of speaking English clearly, it can be very useful to commence an individually designed English pronunciation skills training program.

Teaching English Language to Beginners

Young students especially, have short attention spans and quickly lose concentration so in order to keep lesson momentum and the student interested in the topic at hand, break the lesson time down into ten minute module blocks.
For young students or absolute beginners, start with the alphabet and numbers.
Lesson 1 for example could be to learn the alphabet letters to "g" or whatever you feel is within the students ability. For very young students consider bringing a lap top computer and printer to the class and as part of the lesson find, and print out the Flash Cards you intend to use. Likewise with numbers. Compliment the lesson with Flashcards with words starting with the letters you are teaching. For example Apple, Airplane, Air Conditioner, Ape, etc etc.
There are a variety of board games on the market relate to English learning or again you could design one yourself. Simple memorizing or guessing games using playing cards can be very entertaining to students if approached correctly and for the right duration.
Use Flash Cards to gradually build your students vocabulary.
If you have a group of students, divide them into teams and play a "who knows" game. Quickly display a Flash Card (either number, letter or photo). The student who answers correctly earns a point for their team. Surrounding dialogue: "Ok we're going to play a Do You Know Game. Make three lines. The first line is all students who were born in either January, February, March and April. The middle line is all students who were born in either. May, June, July and August. The third line is all students who were born in WHAT MONTHS?
September, October, November and December. Okay, form the lines and let's start. In summary:
Present material in ten minute "bite size" blocks.
Have all materials for the class prepared in advance and in order of use during the lesson. In another instance you may overestimate your students ability and the material being studied may be far to difficult for the student to understand.
In all lessons it's important to have extra materials and resources to help you when unexpected dilemmas happen/occur.
Have fun with your students and they'll enjoy learning from you.

Opening a Bank Account

Before you open a bank account there are some common questions which you should ask your prospective bank first. Many of these visitors are persons who, in their country, have a high standard of living; and wish to have some, if not most, of their securities in a country whose economy is more stable.
That's why the financial industry of the United States decided to point to these non US residents and create a series of financial products designed specifically for them. From all of these, the most common one is the bank account. You do not need a tefl certificate to teach English in Japan. Besides visa sponsorship, a subsidized apartment, partially-paid national insurance, and help with setting up of bank accounts are also offered to English teachers. Teaching English requires little more than a university degree and the ability to speak English.
Besides Japan, China also offers ESL teaching programs. With many American companies opening shop in China you can always get a job in one of the reputed tech companies after one year of teaching English. Living a decent life in China is cheap and affordable. Housing costs are reasonable and so is food. Chinese people are enterprising and you can learn a lot from them. Brunei is another place where you can become an ESL teacher. With increased tax free salary package, renovated country cottage offered as complete turnkey relocation package, Brunei is the ideal place to start your career as an English teacher. This scenic small island is a haven for people seeking peace and tranquility.
Italy and Spain are another great place for ESL teachers. Fashion industry in Milan would love to hire English knowing people to work with international models and designers. Tourism is another industry where English knowledge will come handy. Europe has a lot to offer.
Teaching English overseas is a really rewarding experience. Teaching English is a great way to see a new place and these countries and places are a great place to go if you are interested.

How to Score High on English

Score HIGH on NEW English Tests
Why international students fail English tests
Students fail because they do not understand the test requirements.
Students fail because they have limited English vocabulary.
Students fail because some English skills are not practiced.
Students fail because they rely on "secret tips" rather than real skill.
Students fail because they cram for tests and become confused.
Students fail because they become upset and cannot perform.
How international students can SCORE HIGH on NEW English tests.
Is the test a written test only? Students who only cram for tests will fail most of the new tests as answers require the application of English grammar skills. I have never met a student who can remember crammed English facts correctly.
Students become upset when they read questions they cannot answer, questions they cannot understand, words they do not know the meaning of, or "secret words" that occur in two or more answers.
Students that are rested, relaxed and arrive on time at the test site will score higher on the tests.
What English Should I study to PASS English Tests?
Many business English courses cover 90% of what students require to pass the TOEIC exam. Many advanced English courses cover 90 % of what is required to pass TOEFL, TOEIC, AP, IELTS and other English tests.
Many Toeic, toefl, IELTS courses only provide practice tests without teaching any vocabulary the four English skills and applied grammar practice. Students must create a plan to increase all applied English skills, vocabulary and become comfortable with the test requirements and answer formats.
Students can take combinations of programs and still pass tests.
The only secret is to have a balance of applied English skills and factual knowledge.

EXAMPLE PLAN TO PASS ENGLISH TESTS
20% vocabulary
15% grammar comprehension
15% reading comprehension
15% listening comprehension
15% writing skills, short answer and essay
15% speaking skills
5% practicing test formats

Bank of English

The Bank of English is the central bank of the United Kingdom. Historically, it has been a model for banks all over the world. The bank was moved to Threadneedle Street in 1734, which is situated in the city of London.
The Bank of English holds gold as insurance in case of turmoil in the world's money markets and its reserves are worth around £4 billion. It has held gold reserves for over 300 years. In 1999, the bank undertook a major restructuring of its gold reserves and auctioned off a large portion of its holdings. This step was undertaken in order to improve the bank's portfolio and increase its holding in currency. Almost 400 tonnes of gold were sold off in this manner.
In 2007, the bank ran into trouble regarding its gold reserves and this news made headlines. Gold was held by the bank in the shape of bars as well as coins.
Since the bank of English is a central bank, its actions affect the entire economy. The gold prices at that time had been at a high since its demand was increasing day by day.
Since the gold was not in mint condition, the bank had to dispose of it at a lower price.
The Bank of English has been heavily criticised for this action, as it will affect the world's economy for many years to come. It was estimated that these sales caused the bank to lose 3.8 billion pounds.

Foreign Language Degrees Prepare You For Much More Than Teaching

Most people associate a foreign language degree with teaching, assuming that someone with a Bachelor's degree in Spanish, French, Japanese or some other foreign language will teach the language. Most students with fluency in a second language, however, pursue career options that focus on the private sector or government service. In fact, having a degree in a foreign language makes you marketable in almost any field within today's global economy.
Teaching is a time-honored career for anyone fluent in a foreign language, but it isn't the only career option. If you have a degree in a second language and you enjoy traveling and experiencing the culture associated with another language, the travel industry offers lots of opportunities. Bilingual tour guides and escort/interpreters are always needed by international touring companies.
If you also have a degree or choose to take course concentrations in medical or legal courses, you will be sought after by international law firms, medical foundations, and research facilities. These corporations need fluent translators and interpreters to handle both written and verbal communications.
Translators, particularly those who focus on written communication, are also in demand for international publishing houses. Fluency in the language of the author, an ability to maintain the voice of the author, and an understanding of the culture are all attributes needed for a good translator in the publishing industry.
The United States Department of State hires people every year for posts all over the world. These Foreign Service specialists include administrative professionals, civil engineers, information technology specialists, security forces and education specialists. For these types of positions, a double major in a foreign language combined with a scientific degree can be in particularly high demand.
Individuals in need of legal advice or medical attention who don't speak English as their first language are more likely to feel comfortable with someone who is fluent in their first language. If you are interested in commerce, marketing or sales, the import/export market is an ideal arena for you. Fluency in a foreign language will enable you to negotiate cultural differences, language barriers and handle customs issues with ease. A degree in a foreign language goes far beyond fluency in a particular language, although it certainly immerses you in the language. By devoting yourself to the study of a language at the college level, you are devoting yourself to moving beyond "book learning". You'll learn the language in its proper context, including accents, regional dialects, slang and the evolution of cultural changes.

Download Drill of National Exam 2010 - English

Download Drill of English - National Examination 2010
(indluding a complete description)

Download Drill of English for University Admission

Download Drill of English for University Admission 2010 (SNMPTN, UMB PTN, SImak UI, USM ITB, UM Undip, Um UPI, UMN PTS, UM UGM, SMup Unpad, etc)
(indluding a complete description)

Download Bank of English for National Examination SMA / MA

Download Bank of English for University Admission

Foreign language majors also study the literature, culture, history and national identities of the countries' languages that they study. Colleges, language centers, private companies, individual tutors and even free blogs and message boards abound.
Before deciding to commit to any particular company or school, be certain you have a thorough understanding of your personal goals. This will help you choose the precise course and the appropriate syllabus to suit your needs.
The purpose of each course will defer, of course. There is a big difference between a quick 10 week course that will teach you conversation English, and a course lasting a few years where you learn to decline nouns and conjugate verbs. If you are heading to New York City for a vacation and just need to get around town, choose restaurants, find bathrooms, and get on the right subway, that quickie ten week course might be perfect.
Courses will all use different methodologies to help you learn. Some use nothing more than tables to memorize, usually reminiscent of our early years in school when we had to memorize vocabulary, poetry, spelling and even math equations. Others will use formal language lessons where you take it one step at a time, much as you'd learn back in high school. Here's a verb, here's a noun, put together a sentence.
Many of the courses provide feedback in the form of sound and pronunciations. You can click on word or even an icon and hear someone pronounce the word, or translate the idea. Let's not forget about homework! Whether you are signing up for a self paced program or a formalized college course, you will have some type of studying and homework. Of course, these assignments are always 'open book', or 'open web page' since there is no other way to get around it. However, if you are taking a test, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you were to always check the website or your notes for help with spelling or translation guidelines.
For the college programs, most of these are 'attended', meaning you need to log on at specified times and you will be online with a virtual class with whom you might be able to communicate via online white boards. You will also have an instructor giving you the lesson, discussing progress, and answering questions. He might even hand out future homework assignments. Courses range from free to thousands of dollars. Cheating won't help, and expecting too much from a free course with a small syllabus won't do much good either.

English Courses Online

English Courses Online
